Story behind the original painting:

“Deep Ocean” is my personal manifesto for overcoming fear.

I have always been terrified of deep water—the vastness, the unknown, the things hidden beneath the surface. Yet, at the same time, I am utterly fascinated by it. In this painting, a woman in a long dress swims deep in the dark waters alongside a massive whale. The whale is huge and intimidating, representing the things that scare us the most. But they aren’t fighting; they are at peace. She has learned to coexist with the depth, and she is actively swimming upward, toward the surface and the light.

This print is a daily visual reminder that you can face the big, scary things in life, find your peace, and keep moving toward the light.
