From the collection “The Way to Freedom”

After the long, breathless miles of running, searching, and striving, there comes a moment when the forward momentum gently subsides. The horizon we were chasing dissolves into the earth beneath our feet. We have arrived.

Not at a destination on a map, but at a destination within ourselves.

“Grounded” captures the profound peace of this stillness. In the soft, mossy embrace of the earth, bare feet finally find their anchor. The frantic rush of “what’s next” is gone, replaced by the quiet, settling weight of the present. The wild, expansive skies of the journey give way to the intimate, living ground.

This is the moment the search ends and knowing begins. We are no longer dreaming of who we might be, or imagining a freedom just out of reach; we are aware of ourselves, exactly as we are.

To be grounded is to be in harmony—with the earth, with the natural rhythm of life, and, most importantly, with our own inner voice. It is the realization that the freedom we were running toward was never ahead of us. It was always waiting for us to stop, listen, and remember who we are.
